G. Scott Sniffin

KINGWOOD TOWNSHIP, NJ - Father, son, husband, brother and life of the party, G. Scott Sniffin, 51, of Kingwood Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born August 9, 1966 in Twentynine Palms, CA, Scott grew up in Milford, NJ before moving to Kingwood Township in 2012. He graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 1984. Scott worked as an engineering tech for Van Cleef Engineering in Lebanon, NJ since 1993. Prior to that, he worked for his father's business, George A. Sniffin Prof. Land Surveyor, in Milford, NJ, starting at the age of ten. Scott was also an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church. He loved music, geocaching, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Scott was an active member and Past Exulted Ruler of the Clinton Elks Lodge #2434.

Scott is survived by his beloved wife Kirsten A. (Walsh) Sniffin, his parents George A. and Ruth A. (VanDuyne) Sniffin of Milford, NJ, his daughter Arielle Sniffin of Northampton, PA, his step-son Devlin Ramsby of Upper Black Eddy, PA, his step-daughter Morgan Ramsby of Upper Black Eddy, PA, his two sisters Amy Bundt of Holland Township, NJ and Pamela Herman of Bath, PA, and his brother Shawn Sniffin of Robbinsville, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and one nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 3 PM at the Clinton Elks Lodge #2434, 211 Sidney Road, Pittstown, NJ. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton Elks Lodge #2434, PO Box 446, Pittstown, NJ 08867 to help veterans and special needs children.
