Lynn Kay Ciotta

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, NJ - Lynn Kay Ciotta understood what love was all about. It was reflected in her unwavering and unconditional love for God, her husband, children, and grandchildren, as well as every person she touched. On Thursday, March 8, 2018, she took the final step in her love journey as she entered the presence of her savior Jesus Christ when she passed from this earth at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Born May 18, 1953 in Framingham, MA, Lynn spent most of her life in Piscataway, NJ, where she graduated from Piscataway High School, Middlesex County College and the Katherine Gibbs School. Later she lived in Flemington, NJ before moving to Holland Township in 1994. She worked at Hunterdon Polytech in Flemington, NJ for the Hunterdon County Educational Services Commission. Prior to that, she served at Plumstead Christian School in Plumsteadville, PA as the Elementary School Administrative Assistant. Lynn also worked at AT&T as a programmer and database administrator. Her greatest joy was her years as a stay-at-home mom and homeschool teacher. Lynn also was a member of the South Ridge Community Church in Clinton, NJ.

Daughter of the late Henry and Madlyne (McMahon) Hardenburg, Lynn is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Paul C. Ciotta, her three sons and daughter: Robert H. Montanye and his wife Jamie; Daniel C. Montanye and his wife Sarah; Jonathan P. Ciotta and his wife Olivia; her daughter Abigail Lynn Fox and her husband Kyle; and her five grandchildren: Cameron, William, R.J., Taylor, and David. In addition, Lynn is also survived by her brother Mark Hardenburg and his wife Lina, her two sisters Tracy Carter and Randy Fishter, and many nieces and nephews

A celebration of Lynn's life will take place on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2 pm at South Ridge Community Church, 7 Pittstown Road, Clinton, NJ. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
