Thomas Leonard Sharpe

POHATCONG TOWNSHIP, NJ - Thomas Leonard Sharpe, 75, of Pohatcong Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born February 22, 1943 in Flemington, NJ, Thomas lived in Frenchtown, NJ and Upper Black Eddy, PA, before moving to Pohatcong Township five years ago. He was a truck driver, and worked for Johanna Farms in Flemington, NJ for 43 years. Thomas was an outdoors man. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping and riding his Harley Davidson. Thomas loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed spending the holidays with them all. He was a member of the Upper Black Eddy Vol. Fire Company.

Son of the late Thomas and Marjorie (Snyder) Sharpe, Thomas is survived by his loving companion of 25 years Yvonne Sanders, his son Dale Sharpe and his partner Kelly of Upper Black Eddy, PA, his two daughters Renee Sharpe-Kaloustian and her wife Paula of Pelham, NH and Lori Nicholas and her husband Brad of Kintnersville, PA, his two step-sons Shawn Sanders and his wife Tara of Upper Black Eddy, PA and Shane Sanders of Doylestown, PA, his brother James Sharpe of Whiting Township, NJ, and his six grandchildren Kirstin, Cody, Hailee, Mason, Christian, and Logan. He was predeceased by his step-mother Doris Sharpe and sister Georgeanna Rehl.

The family will receive friends and relatives during visitation on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ.
