Alan M. Roy, Jr.

BRIDGETON TOWNSHIP, UPPER BLACK EDDY, PA - Alan M. Roy, Jr., 55, of Bridgeton Township, Upper Black Eddy, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at his home.

Born March 11, 1963 in Newton, NJ, Alan lived in Kingwood Township, NJ for most of his life before moving to Upper Black Eddy, PA 26 years ago. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Brown's Mack in Bloomsbury, NJ for 8 years. Prior to that, he worked for Readington Farms, was an auto mechanic for Discount Tire and Auto in Kingwood Township, NJ, and worked for Glen Summit Nursery. Alan was a jack of all trades and loved working with his hands. He was a car enthusiast, enjoyed building model cars, and enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.

Alan is survived by his two daughters Sara Roy and her partner Anthony Hegeman of New Holland, PA, and Amy Roy of Upper Black Eddy, PA, his mother Leslie Roy of Colorado, and his two grandchildren Colton and Ezekiel Gold. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Ivy Mae Roy in 2016, and his father Alan M. Roy, Sr.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
