William J. Schultz

ALEXANDRIA TOWNSHIP, NJ - William J. Schultz, 81, of Alexandria Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born October 16, 1937 in Elizabeth, NJ, Bill lived in Colonia, NJ for about fifteen years before moving to Alexandria Township, NJ in 1978. He graduated from Abraham Clark High School in Roselle, NJ in 1956. Bill served in the US Army from 1957-1959. He worked as a training manager for Continental Airlines for over ten years, retiring in 2003. Prior to that, he worked for Eastern Airlines as a customer service supervisor for over thirty years. Bill was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and grilling, and had become quite the chef. Most of all, Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an active member of St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church in Milford, NJ. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Son of the late John and Catherine (Sauer) Schultz, Bill is survived by his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of fifty nine years, Helen M. Schultz, his two daughters Diane Schrimpe and her husband Arthur Jr. of Coopersburg, PA and Suzanne Bodder and her husband Keith of Holland Township, NJ, his brother Jack Schultz of Iselin, NJ, and his four grandchildren William, Kyle, Kaitlyn, and Nicole.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 9 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church, 61 Mill Street, Milford, NJ. Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Alexandria Township, NJ.
