Dorothy Mae Rembiesa

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Dorothy Mae Rembiesa, 96, of Lawrenceville, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Morris Hall St. Joseph's Nursing Center in Lawrence Township, NJ.

Born November 26, 1922 in River Rouge, MI, Dorothy lived in Allen Park, MI for many years and in Palmer Township, PA for over thirty years. She was a homemaker. Dorothy was an accomplished cook, baker, and seamstress. She enjoyed needlepoint, crossword puzzles, dancing, playing cards, and listening to swing music. Most of all, she enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Eugene and Clara (Chinavare) Myre, Dorothy is survived by her son-in-law Paul F. DeLisle of Lawrenceville, NJ, her three grandsons Jonathan DeLisle, Matthew DeLisle, and Michael DeLisle, and her five great-grandchildren Grace, Sofia, Isabelle, Quinn, and Emma. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Charles Rembiesa, in 2005 and her daughter, Karen DeLisle, in 2004.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Her entombment will take place at the Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township, PA. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
