John F. Hagrish, 75, of Milford, NJ, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021 at his home.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.

While we never met in person, your love of kitties, Stafford in particular, and your kind heart shown through in your correspondence with me and other members of the Tabby's Place family. We were concerned how you would take the news of Stafford's passing, but now you are rejoined over the rainbow bridge.

To John's Family: I knew John only through my 1-on-1 written correspondence with him--for his love of cats and his generosity to Tabby's Place, a cat sanctuary where I volunteer. For the last few months, John and I struck up a wonderful US mail chat about the cat he sponsors, Stafford, and began to share other life news. John was a warm person----I could tell from his letters. My heart is with your heart as you grieve for the loss of such a bright light. Stafford is with John now, too, as he went to kitty heaven in February.
