Betty V. Beltz

Betty Virginia Beltz, 88, of Greenwich Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Abington Manor at Morgan Hill in Williams Township, PA. Betty was born on April 11, 1932 in Mount Joy (Holland Township), NJ and was the daughter of the late Orville and Mildred (Faust) Tange Wieder. She graduated from Frenchtown High School in 1951. Betty was employed as a transformer assembler at Alpha Transformer in Alpha, NJ, for five years. For the next four years, she worked at Frenchtown Porcelain and later at Koh-O-Nor in Bloomsbury, NJ. Betty was also a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Milford, NJ, for seventy years. At one time, Betty was the President of the Greenwich Public School PTO, for three years. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Most of Betty’s joy came from her family. She was always surrounded by her loving family, who will continue to honor her by living their lives to the fullest.

Betty is survived by her daughter Karen Fox of Greenwich Township, NJ and her fiancé Paul Spriet of Riegelsville, PA, her two granddaughters Kenda Fox and her boyfriend Jason Seas of Bangor, PA, and Denille Nelson and her husband Aaron of Bangor, PA, her five great-grandchildren Kody, Gavin, Skyler, Avery, and Lillie, her sister Dorothy Weaver, and her brother Alvin Wieder. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth A. Beltz in 2015 and her two brothers Robert and Raymond Wieder.

Much love to her angels at Abington Memory Care for taking such good care of her, sharing in the long journey. We thank you and we love you with all of our hearts.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 6-8 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 11 AM at the funeral home with Reverend Rob Ernst officiating. Interment will follow at the Bloomsbury Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face masks and social distancing will be enforced.
