From: James Stryker
Dick was a great husband to my mother and the best man at my wedding. He never tried to be the father I lost at a young age but had a significant impact on my life in so many ways that in my heart was more then a stepfather. The memories I have of him shall stay with me for the rest of my life and I have many good memories of him. Thank you for all you did for my mom my siblings and myself, I will never forget you and hold you close to my heart. Until we meet again, Love ya Jim

To the man that I looked up to for most of my life. I was only 13 when you came into my life....what a special bond we shared. You loved my Mom and she loved you! Our talks after she passed, I know you missed her terribly and wished she was still here. Now you are together again. I will always hold you close to my heart and remember all the laughs and tears. Meant the world to me. On behalf of my brothers, sister and Mom and your Grandchildren that called you Grandpop, thank you! Like we always said, love ya to the moon and back. Rest in peace.
