My prayers and condolences go out to your family. She was such a beautiful kind loving lady. Having done her hair for many years we shared many stories. The love for her family was so evident and I know that she was so grateful to be blessed by their caring. Heaven gained a beautiful angel! Love Janice Heiser

Doris, for me, represents the end of an era. She is the wife of my father’s friend. I attended their wedding when i was about 10 years old. She has always been my inspiration - so talented and a gentle spirit. I talked to her just 3 days before she got ill. She was so upbeat and talked of how she enjoyed the holidays. She will be missed deeply.

Doris was the last of the people who I have known most of my life. Our families were close and we enjoyed many times together until we moved to California, but we stayed in touch for over 60 years. My Father and Miner were old friends and enjoyed rebuilding old cars together. I attended their wedding as a child. Doris was such a lovely person and I will miss being able to visit her when I travel to the east coast. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time,
