Evelyn A. LePoidevin

Evelyn A. LePoidevin, 81, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Country Arch Care Center in Union Township, NJ.

Born August 27, 1940 in Trenton, NJ, Evelyn lived in Sunnyside, NJ before moving to Holland Township over 52 years ago. She worked as a cook for Miller’s Tavern for 54 years. Evelyn loved Betty Boop and playing the lottery. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Evelyn was a former member of the Alexandria First Presbyterian Church in Alexandria Township, NJ, where she taught Sunday School and Bible School for many years.

Daughter of the late Miles and Hazel (Burroughs) Bentz, Evelyn is survived by her daughter Linda Stokes, her son Joseph LePoidevin, her sister Harriet Harrison and her husband John, her brother Thomas Bentz, her nephew Richard Reimer, and her three grandchildren Erica Lynn Olson, Lisa Marie Olson, and Joseph Jayden LePoidevin.

A Celebration of Evelyn’s Life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ 08848.
