Benjamin David Blampied

Benjamin David Blampied

Benjamin David Blampied, 32, of Bethlehem Township, PA, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 in Easton, PA.

Born September 10, 1990 in Valhalla, NY, Benjamin grew up in Hunterdon County, and was a 2008 graduate of Voorhees High School. Benjamin worked as a Mason and Tree Worker for Royal Schaaf of Califon, NJ, before becoming a Union IronWorker for Local 11. He was a member of the Nak Muay Thai Gym in Williams Township, PA.

Benjamin is survived by his girlfriend, Amber Hood, of Bethlehem Township, PA, his parents David and Laurie Blampied of Ulster Park, NY, and mother Jen Poe of Frenchtown, NJ, his brother Joshua Blampied and wife Melanie of Frenchtown, NJ, twin brother Allister Blampied and wife Vivian of Holland Township, NJ, brother Jason Blampied of Ulster Park, NY, his niece, Genevieve Blampied of Doylestown, PA, his grandparents Walter and Sandy Blampied of Middletown, NY, Patricia Hunt of Eldred, NY, and Alan and Frances Poe of Greenville, NY, as well as his beloved dogs Chet and Ruger.

When he wasn’t working hard connecting steel with Local 11, he would be hitting the gym, training at the Muay thai dojo, spending quality time with his brothers, romancing his beautiful girlfriend on a date, or working on his cars. He was loyal to the core and had a work ethic like no other. Benjamin and Allister loved riding together and had an inseparable bond. He had two awesome dogs, Chet and Ruger who stuck to him like glue. His positivity and ambition for life and work were only a few of the positive traits anyone who was around him could immediately feel.

Today the unimaginable grief we share with each other will only resolve our steadfast duty to honor and cherish his memory that is alive in the hearts and minds of all who love him so dearly.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 1-4 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ.

My deepest condolences to Amber, Jen, David, Josh, Al and all who have lost this amazing man. I am struggling to find the words to express the deep void that will be left in the lives of everyone who knew Ben. He was loyal, loving, funny and kind. He had a great sense of humor and was a practical joker. He loved Amber and his dogs. He was fiercely dedicated to his family and friends. He was serious about his work, but was always eager for adventure. We will miss him dearly, but we know he will be guiding us to our next adventure.

I knew Ben from awhile back through an ex-boyfriend. I remember Ben being goofy, loving to work on anything mechanical and always so happy. He'd have this impish grin and hearty laugh when he told a good joke. It was so infectious you couldn't help but smile. He was a good man. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to his loved ones. He will live on through the wonderful memories made and smiles he brought to those he cared about.

Our lives were blessed having known Ben. In the day we butted heads often-and this was only because we were both very passionate about the people that we loved. This was something that was of the upmost admirability-loyalty such as his is very rare. His level of energy was something that always astounded me-it seemed as if he never got tired-in body or mind, because there was always something brewing! Though our time was very brief and though we spent most of our time at odds with one another, in the end of our encounter, I believe we came to an understanding that we both stood for the same thing-Love. Molly and I offer our condolences to every individual who had the honor of calling this man Friend and Family. May the Road Rise to meet you Benjamin David. Thank you for keeping me in check so many times. Thank you for being fierce and making such a difference in so many peoples (and dogs) lives. Rest in peace Sir.

After being in Ben and his siblings life for 10+ yrs, it wasn't nearly enough but I cherished every moment of it and will never forget him. He brought light to anyone who was lucky enough to know him and I will forever miss him. We bonded over riding and many other things and those will be the memories I'll take with me for the rest of my life. Taken too soon but definitely left an amazing footprint in this world and the people he cared about and the ones who cared so dearly for him. I'm so blessed to have gotten to know him no matter how little the time was . Rest in peace and ride high. Love ya always boy... until we meet again.
