Margaret (Peg) M. Dockry, 98, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Heather Glen Senior Living in Allentown, PA.

Born July 22, 1924 in Morristown, NJ, Peg lived most of her life in Milford, NJ and The Woodlands, TX before moving to the Allentown area in 2014. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Warren County Adjusters Office before retirement. Peg was a woman of many interests and talents. She flew small planes in her early life, was an accomplished poet and short story writer whose works were published in national magazines, and a noted round dancer and caller in the Lehigh Valley area and nationally.

Daughter of the late Francis and Anna (Boland) McAndrew, Peg is survived by: her four daughters Kathleen Dockry of South Portland, ME, Mary Bertun of Madison, WI, Celia Smoot of Williamsburg, VA, and Bernadette Latin of San Diego, CA; her 9 grandchildren; and her 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph M. Dockry, her two sons Frank Dockry and Matthew Dockry, her sister Elizabeth (Betty) Weiss and her grandson Chas Bertun.

Services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National CASA/GAL Association, 100 W. Harrison Street North Tower, Suite 500, Seattle, WA 98119.
