Kathleen E. Walther

Kathleen “Sis” E. Walther, 72, of Milford, NJ, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at the Country Arch Care Center in Union Township, NJ.

Born January 17, 1950 in Somerville, NJ, Sis grew up and lived in Croton, NJ for 40 years, then moved to Las Vegas, NV where she lived for 12 years, Pahrump, NV for 10 years, before moving to Milford, NJ 10 years ago. She worked for Terribles Casino in Pahrump, NV. Sis and her husband previously owned and operated their own horse tack factory called “Big K Manufacturing” for 12 years, making blankets and leads. Sis enjoyed cooking and being a wife and mother. She loved camping, taking road trips, going to the shore, fishing, and crabbing. Sis was a member of the Pahrump, NV Moose Club. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Daughter of the late Jerry and Catherine (Bauberger) Trstensky, Sis is survived by her beloved husband John H. Walther, Sr., her two daughters Kathleen M. LaVoie and her husband Kevin and Sandra L McDowell, her two sons John H. Walther, Jr. and his wife Jamie and James M. Walther, her four brothers Joseph, Jerry “Hop”, William, and Jay Trstensky, her seven grandchildren Ashley, Reese, Kevin, Jr., LJ, Jeffrey, Julia, and Adison, and her seven great-grandchildren Brantly, Jarrell, MJ, DJ, Rhylie, Julian, and Aiden. Sis is accompanied by Alisha LaVoie, Jarrell Trstensky, Jerry Walther, and son-in-law Gerald.

Services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
