I was saddened to hear the news about Herb. He was a man of many talents and never stopped pursuing new challenges. I was always amazed when he spoke about his new projects on the drawing board. He did not know that I spoke of him often among friends. Just the fact that he was able to keep a full schedule while having treatments 3 days a week, tells you alot about how he lived his life. He will be greatly missed by all. May he rest in peace.

From: Jean (Weber) Ruland
I am the daughter of Doris Stickel Weber. Herb was a lifelong family friend and was adored by all. After my mom's passing we lost touch but his mark on our families history will always be remembered fondly. He was a great man, a good friend and an amazing human. I am sure that he is greatly missed. I am currently with my sister at our family home in upstate NY, looking at a chair owned by my grandmother and reupholstered by Herb's brother, not sure which one, maybe Werner. Because we were reminiscing, Herb came up and we went to the Google and here we are..... RIP Herb<3
