Victor R. Hulsman

Victor R. Hulsman, 79, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA.

Born June 14, 1943 in Newark, NJ, Victor lived in Rahway, NJ and Scotch Plains, NJ before moving to Holland Township in 1977. He graduated from Rahway High School in 1962. Victor served in the US Army and then the Army Reserves. He worked as a tower man for PSE&G in Bridgewater, NJ for over 38 years, retiring in 2006. Victor was a woodworker. He enjoyed building furniture and helping others by working on their homes. Victor loved the beach and enjoyed fishing. He was an avid animal lover, and especially loved his dogs. He was kind-hearted, always took care of those around him, and had a great sense of humor. Most of all, Victor was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Son of the late Victor J. and Marjorie (Montgomery) Hulsman, Victor is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Diana (Dayon) Hulsman, his two sons Matthew Hulsman and his wife Emily and J. Adam Hulsman and his wife Leah, his daughter Mariel Hulsman, his six grandchildren Hannah, Lillian, Amelia, Sam, John, and Sara. He was predeceased by his two brothers Fredrick Hulsman and Daniel Hulsman.

Services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.

Memorial contributions may be made to a local animal shelter of one’s choice.
