I worked with Emma in Milford Boro Hall. She greeted everyone with a smile and had respect for all. She spoke with love for both family and friends. My hope is that she has found peace as she joins with her beloved husband, Art. Our sympathy goes out to the entire Hallinger family. Mary and Doug Sunday

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Emma Jane. You always hear people describe someone who is "salt of the earth," "a good egg" or "down to earth." Emma was all of those things and more! My Mom, who was her neighbor and best friend for years, remembers the countless times she spent in Emma's kitchen talking about life and the numerous kids they each had between them. Emma always had a smile, always had a kind word and always had time for you. The Heller family has a special, indescribable relationship with the Hallinger's ... it's built on growing up on the same street, countless hours of basketball thanks to Art Sr. installing it to keep us all busy, but most of all because of the love and mutual respect we have for each other. Emma and my Mom were our leaders, the ones we came home to after playing "kick the can" or some other Green Street staple. We are lucky to have had such leaders and Emma will be marked in history as one of the most beautiful souls we have ever known. Sending love and prayers to her family ... all of which did not fall far from the apple tree! Love you all! Patty, Mom Heller & the rest of us!
