Steven Glen Lippincott

Steven Glen Lippincott

Steven Glen Lippincott, 47, of Hamilton Township, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Pocono in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Born March 7, 1972 in East Stroudsburg, PA, Steve grew up and lived in Upper Mt. Bethel, PA and Sciota, PA. He then lived in Easton, PA for ten years before settling in Hamilton Township twelve years ago. Steve graduated from Bangor Area High School. He served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Gulf War. Steve also served in the US Army Reserves for four years. He attended Northampton County Community College and East Stroudsburg University. Steve worked for LAMTEC in Mt. Bethel, PA for twelve years. Prior to that, he started working in construction with Fleischer Bros. Roofing in Mt. Bethel, PA and went on to own his own company, S&L Contracting. Steve was also the manager of the Wilson Borough Republican Club at one time and worked as a bartender at several other establishments, including Mothers Bar & Grill in Easton, PA and Steve's Pizza in Palmer Township, PA.

Steve was known for his outgoing and passionate personality. He had many friends and was very loyal to all of them. Steve was always the person to go to for encouragement, spiritual guidance, or to lend a hand.

He loved his family and most especially his sister Charisse and his baby niece Astrid. He was so proud of his sister and her success in life.

Steve also had a love for anything with wheels, from his matchbox cars and Big Wheel bike, to ATV four-wheelers, motorcycles, and his big pickup trucks. He was an avid motorcycle, snowmobile, and jet ski rider. If there was an accessory that would make it go faster or something shinier and cooler looking, he bought it.

Steve was one of the most generous people you could meet. He continued, even in death, to help others by being an organ donor.

Steve is survived by his father Glen A. Lippincott and his wife Donna of Sciota, PA, his mother Carol A. (Houser) Manzi and her husband Jeffrey of Mt. Bethel, PA, his sister Charisse L. Manzi and her husband Erik Adolphson of Woodland Hills, CA, his step-brother John Klein, and his niece Astrid Adolphson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 6-9 PM at Gower Funeral Home, 1423 Route 209, Gilbert, PA. A Celebration of Steve's Life will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11 AM at the Gower Funeral Home. Interment, with military honors, will follow at the Green Ridge Cemetery in Brodheadsville, PA. A motorcycle escort to the cemetery is planned and is encouraged, weather permitting. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the AWSOM Animal Shelter, PO Box 13, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 or the VALOR Clinic Foundation, PO Box 315, Brodheadsville, PA 18322.
