Mary E. Phillips

Mary E. Phillips, 88, of Milford, NJ, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at her home.

Born April 2, 1931 in Holland Township, NJ, Mary was a lifelong resident of Milford, NJ. She worked as a receptionist for Warren Medical in Holland Township, NJ, for many years. Mary also worked for many other physicians in Milford, over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mary loved playing cards and going to the beach. She was member of the Milford Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the Frenchtown American Legion Fidelity Post 113 Auxiliary.

Daughter of the late Russell and Rose (Woolf) Philkill, Mary is survived by son John R. Phillips, her two daughters Shirley A. Billiard and her husband John, and Debra A. Phillips, her six grandchildren Nancy, Elizabeth, John, Scott, Brooke, and Jack, and her two great-grandchildren Nathan and Emma. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold L. Phillips, Jr., her four brothers John, Albert, Arthur, and Edward Philkill, and her two sisters Ethel Lawson and Bessie Hughes.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 12-2 PM at the Johnson-Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM with Pastor Linda Bullock officiating. Interment will follow at the Milford Union Cemetery in Milford, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Milford Fire Co., PO Box 25, Milford, NJ 08848.
