Peter Kluber

Peter Kluber, 81, of Alexandria Township, NJ, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township, NJ.

Born August 28, 1937 in Bronx, NY, Peter moved to Alexandria Township, NJ at the age of four, and lived his whole life there. He graduated from Frenchtown High School in 1956 and from Quaker City School of Aeronautics in Philadelphia, PA in 1961. Peter served in the US Army during peacetime. He was an aircraft mechanic and the owner of State Line Aviation for over forty years, working at Alexandria Airport. After his retirement, he enjoyed working on his ever-growing collection of antique British motorcycles. He was a member of Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church in Baptistown, NJ, a member of Frenchtown American Legion Fidelity Post 113, a longtime member of the Alexandria Township Planning Board as well as a perc test witness. Most of all, Peter was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Son of the late Peter and Mary (Kannapes) Kluber, Peter is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-one years, Ellen (Papics) Kluber, his two daughters Jennifer Wolfram and her husband James, and Amy McCandlish and her husband Jon, his sister Lillian Race, and his six grandchildren - Adrienne, Nate, Lila, Owen, Eloise, and Henry.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 9-10 AM at Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church, Route 519, Baptistown, NJ followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kingwood Rescue Squad, PO Box 89, Baptistown, NJ 08803 or to the CHOP Cardiac Center, 3401 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
