Carl K. Fleming

Carl K. Fleming, 89, of Riegelsville (Holland Township), NJ, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at his home.

Born December 26, 1929 in Riegelsville, NJ, Carl was a lifelong resident. He served honorably in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Carl worked for the Riegel Paper Corp. in Milford, NJ for 47 years, before his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed working on and repairing lawn mowers and working in his garden. Carl was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. He also enjoyed NASCAR. Carl was a member of the St. John United Church of Christ in Riegelsville, PA, the Holland Seniors, and the Riegel Ridgers. Most of all, Carl was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and he loved spending time with his family.

Son of the late Arthur and Sarah (Loux) Fleming, Carl is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Dorothy "Dot" M. (Melchor) Fleming, his two daughters Patsy Hartman and her husband R.W. Peter and Barbara Corrigan and her husband William, his brother Earl Fleming and his wife Joanne, his two grandchildren Richard and Colleen and his five great-grandchildren Logan, Chloe, Ricky, Carly, and Bennett. He was predeceased by his brother Marvin Fleming, his infant sister Gladys Fleming, and his grandson Jason Corrigan (2006).

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 10 AM- 12 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM with Rev. Lynne Mikulak officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at the Riegelsville Union Cemetery in Riegelsville, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John United Church of Christ, 651 Easton Road, Riegelsville, PA 18077.
