Niblo J. Izzo

Niblo J. Izzo, 91, of Kingwood Township, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Easton Hospital in Easton, PA.

Born April 28, 1928 in Elizabeth, NJ, Niblo resided in Elizabeth before moving to Kingwood Township, NJ fifty-seven years ago. He honorably served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Niblo worked as a custodian for Kingwood Township School, for many years, before his retirement. He always took care of and ran his farm in Kingwood, raising beef cows, horses, chickens, and growing hay and corn. Niblo was a dog lover and he was known to board and breed German Shepherds.

Son of the late Niblo Izzo and Clementine "Rose" (Rocco) Harvey, Niblo is survived by his daughter Debra Izzo of Spring Hill, FL, his son Frank J. Izzo of Kintnersville, PA, his granddaughter Angela Izzo, and his great-granddaughter Arianna Izzo. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Mildred A. (Kresge), his two brothers Anthony Izzo and Frank Izzo, and his sister Rosemarie Paterson.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, N.J. A prayer service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will be held privately at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, N.J.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
