Walter Freeh

Walter "Lee" Freeh, 73, of Hellertown, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Genesis HealthCare Quakertown Center in Quakertown, PA.

Born March 11, 1946 in Upper Black Eddy, PA, Lee lived most of his life in Upper Black Eddy. He also lived in Kintnersville, PA before moving to Hellertown in 2015. Lee graduated from Palisades High School in 1965. He served in the US National Guard from 1965 to 1970. Lee worked for the Riegel Paper Corp. in Milford, NJ, for over thirty years. He also worked at Home Depot in Souderton, PA and National Container in Quakertown, PA. Lee was an avid animal lover, and especially loved dogs. He was active in scouting for most of his life. He obtained the level of Eagle Scout and was a Vigil Honor member in the Order of the Arrow. Lee was a member of the Masonic Darcy Lodge # 37 F&AM, formerly Orion Lodge #56, in Frenchtown, NJ and Clinton, NJ.

Son of the late Walter S. and Evelyn Mae (Shoudt) Freeh, Lee is survived by his beloved wife of fifty one years, Dianne (Whitman) Freeh, his two sons Brian Freeh and his wife Julie of Pennsburg, PA and Glenn Freeh of Milford Square, PA, his sister Beverly Hendricks, and his four grandchildren Jacob, Katherine, Shane, and Shannon.

Visitation and funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will follow at the Upper Tinicum Lutheran Church Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ 08848, to help with funeral expenses or to the Upper Bucks SPCA, 60 Reservoir Road, Quakertown, PA 18951.
