Susanne I. Mease

Susanne I. Mease, 82, of Springfield Township, PA, formerly of Erwinna, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at her home.

Born October 20, 1937 in Doylestown, PA, Susanne lived in Erwinna, PA for most of her life, before moving to Springfield Township three years ago. She graduated from Palisades High School in 1956. Susanne worked for Lipton Tea Company in Flemington, NJ for over twenty-five years, where she was a lead foreman, retiring in 1991. She also worked at Frenchtown Porcelain Co. in Frenchtown, NJ at one time. Susanne also enjoyed her part-time, seasonal jobs picking strawberries, Easter time at Gertrude Hawk, and Halloween time at Foster's in Doylestown, PA. Susanne was also part owner of Ginny Sue's Catering Co. in Erwinna, PA. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Cech) Burgstreser, Susanne is survived by her sister Doris Sante, her beloved husband of sixty-three years Ralph H. Mease, her son Jeffrey J. Mease and his wife Cheyenne of Springfield Township, PA, her two grandchildren Nevada and Cody, and her three great-grandchildren Indy, West, and Atlas.

A private graveside service for the immediate family will be held at the Upper Tinicum Cemetery in Tinicum Township, PA. A Celebration of Susanne's Life will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 12-4 PM at the Silver Creek AA, 2943 Route 212, Springtown, PA 18081. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
