Joseph E. Schuster, Jr.

Joseph E. Schuster, Jr., 88, of Bloomsbury, Franklin Township, Warren County, NJ, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Born January 31, 1932 in Bloomsbury, NJ, Joseph was a lifelong resident there, living on his family farm. He graduated from Washington High School, now Warren Hills High School. Joseph was a farmer on his father's farm in Franklin Township, NJ. He owned and worked the farm, with his brother John, for over seventy years.

Son of the late Joseph E. Schuster, Sr. and Rose (Hart) Schuster, Joseph is survived by his son Robert Schuster and his wife Geri of Whitehouse Station, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Kenneth and Joan Fleming, and his four grandchildren Megan, Ryan, Kaitlin, and Timothy. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Betty Marie (Hornbaker) Schuster in 2014, and his brother John Schuster.

A private graveside services will take place at Locust Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center or Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
