Glenn A. Griffith

Glenn Allan Griffith, 55, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his home.

Glenn was born August 10, 1965 to the late Cleo and Anna (Hummer) Griffith. He was a lifelong resident of Holland Township, NJ, later buying the same home he was raised in. Glenn graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 1983. At age 22, he started his own business, Timberwolf Landscaping. He went on to join the Alexandria Township Road Department, where he was the Road Foreman, retiring in 2019 after 25 years of service. Glenn took pride in a job well done, working hard and perfectionist attention to detail. He believed in being a good friend and good neighbor and in helping others. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He felt fortunate to have accomplished many of the travels on his bucket list.

Glenn is survived by his beloved wife Alisa with whom he just celebrated 33 years of marriage on May 14th. He is also survived by his son Ben Griffith, and his four brothers Ronald, Donald, Wayne, and Vernon Griffith. He was predeceased by his son Christopher Alan Griffith in 1997, and by his eldest brother and sister-in-law Bob and Marilyn Griffith of Harrisville, PA.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 10-11 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ. A Celebration of Glenn's life will follow at 11 AM with the Reverend Christopher Small, from Hunterdon Hospice, officiating. Interment at a later date will be private at the Milford Union Cemetery in Milford, NJ. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face masks and social distancing will be enforced.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.

I am so sad to hear of Glenn's passing today. My heart felt condolences and prayers go out to Alisa, Ben, Donald, Ronald, Wayne, Vernon and his entire family. Glenn and I went to Holland Township school and graduated from Del Val together. He was such a wonderful friend and will be sorely missed.
