Dwayne A. Fitz

Dwayne A. Fitz, 64, of Upper Black Eddy, Tinicum Township, PA, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at his home.

Born June 11, 1958 in Falmouth, MA, Dwayne was a lifelong resident of Tinicum Township, PA. He graduated from Palisades High School in 1976. Dwayne received his electrical degree from Penn College of Technology in Williamsport, PA. He worked as a project manager for PKF Mark III Inc. for seven years. Prior to that, Dwayne worked for Avery Dennison Co. as an operations manager in Quakertown, PA, where he worked for over 20 years. He was a very hardworking, family man and took much pride in building his own home. Family meant everything to him. Dwayne was an avid fan of all of the Philadelphia sports teams, including his beloved Phillies. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting. Dwayne was a member of the Bridgeton Athletic Association.

Dwayne is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Chrisse L. (Minder) Fitz, his mother Marilyn, (Manship) Fitz, his three sons Douglas Fitz and his wife Laurie, Ryan Fitz and his wife Jennifer, and Andrew Fitz and his wife Crystal, his two sisters Belinda Janiszewski and Trina Quinby, his brother Wayde Fitz, his five grandchildren Cailin, Josephine, Abigail, Sydney, and Ryleigh. He was predeceased by his father Leonard Fitz.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 10 AM-12 PM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Holland Township, NJ, followed by a Celebration of Dwayne’s Life at 12 PM with Pastor Linda Bullock officiating. Interment will follow at the Upper Tinicum Cemetery in Tinicum Township, PA.
