Samuel L. Ferdetta

Samuel L. Ferditta, 86, of Pittstown,Union Township, NJ, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Country Arch Care Center in Union Township, NJ.

Born October 14, 1935 in Trenton, NJ, Samuel lived there most of his life before moving to Milford, NJ over 25 years ago. He then moved to Pittstown, NJ (Union Township) 2 years ago. Samuel worked for A&P and SuperFresh grocery stores, for most of his life. He was an avid baseball fan. Samuel enjoyed playing cards and gambling.

Son of the late Salvatore and Mary(Muto) Ferdetta, Samuel is survived by his caregiver Kathleen N. Sassaman and her family, Sandy and Brenda and their children. He was predeceased by his three brothers Frank, John, and Alphonse and his three sisters Sandy, Josie, and Mary.

A Memorial Mass will be held privately at St. Edward the Confessor R.C. Church in Milford, NJ. Interment will also be private at the Milford Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
