Margaret E. Novack

Margaret (Peggy) E. Novack, 86, of Franklin Township, NJ, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.

Born at home on January 6, 1938 in Bernardsville, NJ, Margaret resided in NJ all of her life. She lived in Lebanon, then Kingwood Township, before moving to Franklin Township. She graduated from Bernardsville High School. She started out as a teletype operator for Bell Labs, then went on to raise her family before working at Eaton Corporation/Yale in Flemington, finally retiring from Linde in Murray Hill. She was around horses most of her life and enjoyed them immensely, she took much pride in her gardening, enjoyed watching the hummingbirds, spending money at casinos and playing on her iPad.

Daughter of the late Frederick and Hazel (Earhardt) Eggling, Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband Richard Joseph Novack in 1997. Margaret is survived by her sister Patricia Byram of Vero Beach, FL, two daughters Tammy Sievert of Port St. Lucie, FL, Tracy Novack of Franklin Township, her two sons Richard Novack of Franklin Township and James Novack of Kingwood Township, as well as eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.
