James Robert Snook

James Robert Snook, 38, of Alexandria Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Born August 19, 1985 in Easton, PA, James (Jimmy) was a lifelong resident of Alexandria Township, NJ. He graduated from Delaware Valley Regional High School in 2004. Jimmy worked as a welder for Vianini Pipe Inc. in Whitehouse, NJ for about 20 years, and also worked as a crane operator. He was NCCCO certified in mobile hydraulic cranes and as a rigger. Jimmy loved being in the garage with his father any chance he could get. Born a natural thrill seeker brought him to his love of riding anything with a motor, especially motorcycles and snowmobiles. Jimmy enjoyed caring for animals and he enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors and especially being near water. His sense of humor was unmatched - he had a contagious laugh that could brighten any room. There's not much he loved more than taking his afternoon naps. More importantly, Jimmy was a one of a kind old soul who immersed himself in his passion for music in every avenue of his time here. Those who knew him were aware of how extremely generous he was and there was nothing he wouldn't give or sacrifice for anyone he loved. Jimmy was a member of the Sons of American Legion, Frenchtown Post 113.

James is survived by his son, his parents James A. and Linda M. (Schulze) Snook, his paternal grandfather Robert O. Snook and his wife Greta, his two sisters Laura Joan Patel and her husband Dhru and Lindsay Marie Snook and her fiancé Jesse Kosmin, his longtime girlfriend Angelina Cirasa and her four sons Ayden, Brantley, Liam, and Owen who he loved dearly. He is also survived by his niece Ardyn Patel and nephew Kian Patel, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. James was predeceased by his paternal grandmother Joan C. Snook and his maternal grandparents Frank W. Schulze and Barbara A. Schulze.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Frenchtown Cemetery in Frenchtown, NJ, with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to arrive at 11 AM. Arrangements are under the care of the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 113, 510 Harrison Street, Frenchtown NJ 08825 or Milford Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 25, Milford, NJ 08848.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy to James and Linda Snook and Family. The first time I met Jimmy was my 5th grade class at Alexandria School. I have never forgotten him or the boys' in that class. He was a precious soul who brought energy, laughter and joy to all of us. It made me so sad to hear of his passing. May God be with you all and wrap you in His loving arms and give you peace.
